Nepes corporation partnered with World Vision Chungbuk Office on December 29 to deliver “Dream Support Gift Sets” to 100 children from underprivileged backgrounds in the local community.
This initiative was carried out as part of World Vision’s child development program, Dreaming Children, and was made more meaningful through the active participation of Nepes employees. Employees were matched one-on-one with participating children and received letters introducing each child’s dreams and the efforts they have made to pursue them.
Moved by the children’s stories, Nepes employees wrote personalized encouragement letters and carefully prepared 100 gift packages, each consisting of LEGO toys, snacks, and cultural gift vouchers. The gift sets will be delivered directly to the children’s families through World Vision’s Chungbuk Office.
Guided by its management philosophy of “serving the world through people who are put to meaningful use,” Nepes continues to pursue social contribution activities that grow together with local communities. The company has consistently supported initiatives that help children and adolescents discover their potential and pursue their aspirations for the future.
Choi Chi-ho, Head of Corporate Management Support at Nepes, stated,
“Encouraging children to continue pursuing their dreams without giving up is one of the important social responsibilities of a company. We hope this initiative provides both comfort and courage to the children, and we will continue to work with World Vision to support children in our local communities.”
Nepes plans to continue fulfilling its role as a responsible corporate citizen by engaging employees in social contribution activities that promote shared growth with local communities and deliver hope to those in need.
