Rugular volunteer activities
nepes fulfills its corporate social responsibility through regular volunteer activities in which employees participate together. Every month, our employees engage in various forms of volunteer program, such as preparing kits for underprivileged groups, donating blood, and carrying out environmental clean-up activities. In times of national crises, including natural disasters, we are among the first to offer our support. Through these consistent efforts, nepes is fostering a corporate culture where sharing becomes a way of life.

Volunteer Club “Nanumi”
“Nanumi (Sharers)” is a volunteer club established to serve the local community and share in the challenges faced by our neighbors. To promote the welfare of people with disabilities, Nanumi has partnered with the Eumseong welfare Center for the Disabled and provides regular donations. The club also actively engages in a range of volunteer activities, including improving housing conditions and organizing outings for underprivileged groups.
Promoting Employment of the Socially Underprivileged
To promote employment for the underprivileged, Nepes established a subsidiary-type standard workplace for the disabled and operates the Rua Orchestra, comprised of individuals with developmental disabilities.
After a year of preparation starting in 2021, the orchestra signed a business agreement with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled in March 2022 to promote employment. In May 2022, the orchestra signed employment contracts with eight members.
Since then, through continuous recruitment, 23 members have been hired, and the orchestra held its inaugural ceremony on November 3, 2022, with the Governor of North Chungcheong Province and other community members present.
The world of work for people with developmental disabilities is extremely limited, and social prejudice is widespread.
The Nepes Rua Orchestra does not select individuals with developmental disabilities who have majored in music. Instead, it hires and trains individuals with developmental disabilities who have never been exposed to music,
helping them achieve independence. Since its founding in November 2022, the orchestra has performed a total of 36 times, including tours at Nepes' business locations, performances at local government offices, community groups, and special education schools. The orchestra has gradually achieved tangible results since its inception. Going forward, the Nepes Rua Orchestra aims to become the best orchestra for people with developmental disabilities in Korea, transcending the local community and practicing corporate social responsibility and ESG management.
